Around the highest municipality of the Mühlviertler Alm at 1,000 metres above sea level, a perfectly groomed network of trails with 9 varied circuits awaits.

As part of the AktivWelt Freiwald, the region connects the Mühlviertel with the Waldviertel. The trails lead through idyllic winter landscapes and to the neighbouring villages of Karlstift and Langschlag.

A special highlight for all winter fans is the Liebenau winter sports arena right in the village. With its own ski lift and artificial snow trails, it offers the best conditions for cross-country skiing, first turns in the snow or simply to actively enjoy the winter.
